About Our Chief Instructor: Sophie Lin (林景莉) is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, English and
French. She did her B.A. at National Taiwan University before acquiring M.A. from the University of Paris III (a.k.a. La Sorbonne
Nouvelle) in France. A published writer
since 1994 and founder of THS since 2006, Sophie worked in the foreign service and taught in a Taiwanese university
before settling down in Charlottesville, Virginia. These days, Sophie also teaches piano at the University of Virginia
and writes under pen name at her leisure... |
